Hannah was delighted to visit the South Harrow Mosque on Friday. Following morning prayers, Hannah gave a brief address on the importance of preserving religious freedom for all of Harrow’s Communities. The discussion that followed focused on the importance, for every religious community, of having a permanent place of worship.
Given the high proportion of entrepreneurs and small-business people in attendance at the mosque, the conversation soon turned to business. Hannah was delighted report on the work that she has been doing to support small business in Harrow, and invited all those present to attend the next meeting of Harrow Business Club – an initiative she set up to help businesses in Harrow to network, promote themselves, and grow. (See below for details)
Hannah said: “I felt privileged to be invited by Mohammed Eaoyor Sheikh, and Imam Hafz Maulana Wahid Siraji, to speak after morning prayers. I received such a warm reception, and enjoyed the friendly and informal discussion. I am very much looking forward to visiting again soon, and look forward to working with the community at the South Harrow Mosque in the future.
